About Us
The Tamworth Pantomime Company Youth Academy only exists because of the fantastic work of The Tamworth Pantomime Company.
Formed in 2007, The Tamworth Pantomime Company guaranteed that thousands of children will continue to enjoy that uniquely British phenomenon that is the Pantomime experience.
Ian Gibbons and Tina McBain have worked tirelessly to ensure that the community reaps the benefits of their efforts and that Artistic Theatre carries its' head high.
In January 2009, it became apparent that, because of the number of children involved in the annual Pantomime, we needed a place to nurture talent and encourage their abilities...and hence the Youth Academy came into being.
What a good thing!
We now have students from 3 to 16 that have clearly embraced the fun of the theatre, whether that be dance, song, drama, stage craft or just great camaraderie with a new bunch of friends.
Our Philosophy
This bit is easy! Any child that wishes to join will be treated the same, regardless of race, creed, colour or ability. We just want the children to have fun and improve their confidence through dramatic arts!
